FAQs
-
How do virtual sessions work?
All sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You can attend from anywhere you feel comfortable—your home, office, or a private space. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and a microphone.
-
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most insurance plans through Headway and Alma. If you're out of network, I can provide superbills through Thrizer. I also offer sliding scale options through Open Path Collective. We're happy to discuss this during your initial consultation.
-
Who do you work with?
We specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC clients, and anyone from marginalized communities seeking affirming care. We welcome anyone committed to their healing journey who is looking for a therapist who truly understands intersectional identity and systemic oppression.
-
What if I'm not sure therapy is right for me?
That's completely normal! We offer a brief consultation call where you can ask questions, learn more about our approach, and see if we're a good fit. There's no pressure—just an opportunity to explore whether therapy might be helpful for you right now.
-
How often will we meet?
Most clients meet weekly, especially when beginning therapy. As you progress, we may adjust to bi-weekly or monthly sessions based on your needs and goals. We'll work together to find a schedule that supports your growth.
